I’ve been a bit lax after a period of regular posting due to graduate school applications. Two down, two to go. I may make use of this site, the applyingtograd community on LiveJournal. They say the ‘hidden essay’ on the Berkeley app is actually pretty important. Who knew!

I’m back in New York now, after a stint in Western Mass. This means, primarily, a full-sized keyboard and wireless mouse, egg-and-cheese every day, and exorbitant parking fines. I’ve applied for a job in Oakland which would be great to get, on many levels. Won’t say much more ‘cause one can’t get one’s hopes up over these things. Grad school, on the other hand …

I’ve added another link to the linklist. Legal Theory Lexicon is a great resource put together by … some people? Incredibly in-depth discussion of various legal theory concepts, includiing both legal and moral arguments. Everything you ever wanted to know about personhood, consent and more.

I’ve always liked Brian Williams, but now it is love. Here he is holding his own on the Daily Show.
